Eyþór is a dedicated guardian of Iceland’s written heritage. For years he has been tracking down, restoring, and lovingly preserving more than 500 rare and historic volumes, most of them Icelandic, along with extraordinary finds from other cultures. His restoration work is a true craft: gently cleansing centuries-old pages, repairing bindings, and ensuring every fragile detail endures for the future. But Eyþór doesn’t just protect these treasures — he shares their stories, inspiring others to appreciate Iceland’s literary legacy.
